NBS4EU network

DesirMED sister projects are projects funded under the same Horizon Europe programme Call Topic “Testing and demonstrating transformative solutions on climate resilience, mainstreaming nature based solutions in the systemic transformation” .

To foster synergies among sister projects, NBS4EU cluster was established in spring 2024.

NBS4EU will act as a platform to collaborate and exchange information among the participating sister projects. A total of almost 140 million euros has been allocated to the seven funded projects, making it one of the largest topics under Horizon Europe. These "sister projects" collectively work with around 70 regions and municipalities, significantly contributing to the objective of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change to support at least 150 regions in achieving climate resilience by 2030. Communication with the sister projects has already been initiated, exploring potential synergies and common activities. Engaged projects are seeking to form a coalition to enhance impact and outreach, which would be unattainable if pursued separately.
