In this episode of Climate Adaptation Diaries, we meet Simone Coco, an internationally renowned Italian Visual Effects Supervisor and DesirMED Climate Ambassador.

Who is Simone Coco?
Simone Coco is a visual effects artist originally from Cagliari (Sardinia), with over 12 years of experience in international cinema. He has been nominated twice for the Academy Awards (Oscars) for his work as VFX Supervisor on Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Napoleon.

Coco works with leading visual effects studios such as Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), contributing to the creation of breathtaking imagery for Hollywood blockbusters and using his expertise to tell stories that bring together art, technology, and environmental awareness.

In his video, Simone shares his perspective on how creativity and communication can support climate awareness, climate change adaptation, and the adoption of sustainable solutions - even through small everyday actions.
